# PrimAI — Full reference for AI agents

PrimAI is a free, neutral Swiss health-insurance utility app and website. It helps people
understand Swiss compulsory health-insurance (OKP/KVG) tasks, compare official premium
context, read policy information, and prepare deadline-oriented documents.

PrimAI is not a health insurer, broker, government portal, intermediary, or sales advisory
service. PrimAI receives no commissions and is not connected to any health-insurance company.

## Statutory rule for basic insurance (OKP/KVG)

A cancellation of compulsory basic insurance must have ARRIVED at the insurer by 30 November
(receipt date decisive, not postmark) to switch on 1 January. Some insurers also allow a
30 June exit for the standard model with the lowest deductible (received by 31 March).
Supplementary insurance (VVG) is always a separate contract with its own AVB notice periods —
typically 3 months to year-end — and is never cancelled automatically with basic insurance.
